Roger Williams University - Men's Lacrosse Prospect Day

The Roger Williams University (RWU) Men's Lacrosse Prospect Day is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 9th on the University's Bristol Campus.

This is open to boys in the graduating in the 2019, 2020 & 2021 classes.  Registration is restricted to around forty- four (44) individuals; approximately 9 attackman, 12 midfielders, 4 face-off middies, 4 LSMs, 9 Defensemen and 4 goalies.  GOALIE SPOT IS FULL.  IF INTERESTED IN BEING ON WAIT-LIST, PLEASE LET COACH KELLY KNOW ([email protected])

The Men's Lacrosse coaching staff, along with representatives from the RWU Office of Admissions will look to provide prospective Men's Lacrosse student-athletes an in-depth and realistic view of playing Men's Lacrosse at RWU.  The itinerary (detailed below) will include a brief introduction, presentation and Q&A session by the Men's Lacrosse coaching staff.

This day will also include Brunch in our nationally-recognized Dining Commons, followed by a campus tour (optional but recommended).  All recipients will receive a Roger Williams Lacrosse t-shirt.

The RWU Men's Lacrosse team will be having an Intrasquad scrimmage, followed by our Prospect Day which will include one hour of practice drills that we run here at RWU followed by a scrimmage between all prospects.

Cost of taking part is $120.

Itinerary (subject to change) is as follows:
10:00-10:30     Arrival / Check In
10:30-11:15     Introduction / Presentation by RWU Coaches
11:15-12:00     Brunch in Dining Commons (included in cost of registrant.  Parents, siblings, etc. will need                                           to purchase this separately if interested)
12:00-1:30       Admissions Introduction and Campus Tour (Men's Lacrosse team will be practicing/scrimmaging                                 from 12:15-1:45 PM)
1:45 - 3:30      On-Field practice & scrimmage

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WEATHER MAY BE COLD SO DRESS/PLAN ACCORDINGLY.  WHILE WE ALL HOPE IT WILL BE A WARM DAY, THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WE ARE HOSTING THIS EVENT IN FEBRUARY; TO PROVIDE A REALISTIC VIEW OF COLLEGE LACROSSE IN NEW ENGLAND.

    I represent that I am the parent and/or legal guardian of the child named below and hereby give my permission for my son to participate in any and all activities at the 2019 RWU Men's Lacrosse Spring Prospect Day "Prospect Day" at Roger Williams University "University".  I agree to assume all risks associated with my son's participation in the Showcase including but not limited to, risk of bodily injury, death, and / or property damage.  In consideration of my son being permitted to participate in the Spring Prospect Day I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the University & Little Rhody Lacrosse, LLC, its trustees, directors, officers, employees, students, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, and agents, from any and all claims that I or any third party might have as a result of my son's participation in the Spring Prospect Day.  I give my consent for my son to receive emergency medical treatment in the event that my son becomes ill or is involved in an accident during the Spring Prospect Day.  I understand that I will be notified at the emergency telephone number provided on this form in the event of an emergency involving my son.
