Little Rhody Lacrosse was formed in 2012 by Marty Kelly, Men's Lacrosse Coach at Roger Williams University and the Director of Little Rhody Lacrosse, LLC to help grow and promote the sport of lacrosse in Rhode Island and Southern New England. Little Rhody Lacrosse operates the Little Rhody Summer and Little Rhody Fall High School Recruiting Showcases; along with the Little Rhody Lacrosse Camp every summer for boys entering 3rd thru 9th grades. All Little Rhody events take place on the campus of Roger Williams University; on their Bristol campus.
Through the Little Rhody Summer and Fall High School Recruiting Showcases, our primary goal is to provide exposure for student-athletes to a select group of schools while allowing certain coaches the opportunity to coach and evaluate prospective student-athletes up close and personal. This close interaction allows both coaches and student-athletes to see if there is a strong academic, social and athletic bond between the player and their college/university.
With all of our events, we provide a smaller venue that provides more interaction and coaching from all members of the Showcase and Camp staffs. We continue to get tremendous feedback from student-athletes, campers and their parents regarding the smaller and more intimate size of these events.
